Mt. Namsan, the heart of Seoul
"The Namsan, a 265m high landmark in the middle of Seoul is the mountain that symbolizes Seoul. It is located at the heart of capital hanging over Jung-gu and Yongsan-gu. The past foreign residential complex was developed into an open botanical garden, and as the Namsan Park was restored in the areas of Yejang-dong and Hwahyun-dong of Jung-gu and Hannam-dong of Yongsan-gu, it truly changed into a people’s park."
Thanks to location in the heart of Seoul, easily accessible from everywhere by public transport, Mt Namsan is one of the most popular destination visited by a lot of people. You may climb the mountains (262 m) on foot or use the shuttle bus up to the top easier. You can overview the downtown Seoul from the top of Namsan at a glance and experience a breathtaking night view of Seoul.
